silent night

we're still waiting for susan's cervix to dilate. hue's parents decide to head home at around 11. there's really not much going on and someone should get some rest. after an intial round of misoprostol, her uterus has a irregular rate of contraction and is still @ 1cm. they consider using a foley catheter to mechanically open up the cervix. however tabsh calls in ~11 pm and orders for a second round of miso hoping to get it ripened. susan's starting to feel some strong contractions and we're still waiting for a ldr. then a couple hours later, around 1, we get into a more private triage room. it doesn't have all the niceties of an ldr, but at least it's more secluded and we can pass gas without offending neighbors...the wait continues.
